The Maple Ridge Community Foundation recognizes that the charitable sector is at the heart of our community and enhances virtually every aspect of our lives. Because of this, the Community Foundation is committed to developing meaningful relationships with our community’s charitable organizations and works hard to assist them in the following ways:

• As a granting resource – by directing funds to projects and programs that improve the quality of life for our residents
• As a matchmaker – by understanding both our local charities’ needs and our donors’ goals and wishes, the Maple Ridge Community Foundation is better able to match donors’ goals to charities doing great work in specific areas of interest
• As a community partner – although the Community Foundation may not always be able assist our local charities financially, it can help raise the awareness of our local charities, and of the programs and projects they deliver in the community in a variety of ways

By having strong relationships with our local charitable organizations, we are better able to identify and fund community programs and projects that will strengthen our community not only today but in the future as well.
